The Department of Risk Management in the Smeal College of Business at The Pennsylvania State University (University Park) invites applications for a one-year visiting faculty position in real estate. This is a fixed-term, non-tenure track position.
Visiting faculty will teach in the undergraduate and graduate programs and participate in the research mission of the department. A Ph.D. degree in real estate, economics or finance is required. The appointment may be made in the ranks of professor, associate professor, or assistant professor depending on the qualification of the candidate. Applications will be reviewed immediately. The Department of Risk Management is home to faculty in Actuarial Science, Business Economics, Business Law, Enterprise Risk Management, International Business and Real Estate. Our undergraduate Risk Management major offers options in Actuarial Science, Enterprise Risk Management, and Real Estate. The department also offers a Certificate in Real Estate Analysis and Development at the undergraduate level and starting in Fall 2019 we will offer a new Master of Science in Real Estate Analysis and Development that has a STEM certification. We also have a strong PhD program in Real Estate.
