The Belk College of Business Lecturer or Clinical Assistant Professor of Real Estate


The Belk College of Business at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte is seeking to fill a lecture/clinical assistant professor position in real estate. This candidate will teach classes in real estate at both the master’s and undergraduate level. The successful candidate will have experience in real estate development or a related field, excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work with the business community. In addition to teaching duties the candidate will be expected to engage in applied research and service activities through the Childress Klein Center for Real Estate. The candidate must have a proven ability to communicate effectively both in writing and in person with key real estate decision makers. Candidate for the lecturer position must hold a master’s degree in real estate, finance, economics, architecture, construction management, or a related field. Candidates for the clinical assistant professor position must hold either a Ph.D. or DBA in real estate, economics, construction management, or a related field, or have a Juris Doctorate.
