CALL FOR PAPERS
FOR A CONFERENCE ON
HOUSING, FINANCIAL MARKETS AND MONETARY POLICY
September 6 – 7, 2018
The Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco and the UCLA Ziman Center for Real Estate are jointly organizing a conference on housing, financial markets and monetary policy that will be held in San Francisco on September 6 and 7, 2018. The conference will focus on the connections between the housing market and financial markets, financial stability and monetary policy. The organizing committee is interested in studies analyzing the role of housing in the macroeconomy, the influence of credit conditions on local housing activity, macroeconomic implications of housing policy and mortgage finance reforms, mortgage securitization, formation of house prices, mortgage loan performance and financial stability issues stemming from the housing and mortgage markets.
Those interested in presenting research at this conference should send a PDF of their paper or a detailed abstract to firstname.lastname@example.org by May 31, 2018. Authors of accepted papers will be notified by June 30, 2018. The conference sponsors will pay travel expenses, including coach airfare and lodging for two nights, for one author of each accepted paper. Electronic copies of the conference papers will be made available at http://www.frbsf.org/economics/conferences, but a conference volume will not be published.
